Online Giving

“But just as you excel in everything–
in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness
and in your love for us–see that you also excel in this grace of giving.” 2 Cor. 8:7 (NIV)

Giving demonstrates our Faith in God the Provider.

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it. . .”
Psalm 24:1

If we truly believe God is our Provider and we are stewards of what He has given to us, our giving is a tangible way in which we demonstrate our faith and trust in Him to continue to provide as we are obedient by giving back a portion to Him.

Giving demonstrates our Faithfullness to what the Bible teaches us:

“Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won’t be faithful in large ones.
If you cheat even a little, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.
And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth,
who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?”
Luke 16:10-11

Giving is a vital part of our spiritual formation and is an act of Worship:

“You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give.
Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure.
For God loves the person who gives cheerfully.
And God will generously provide all you need.
Then you will always have everything you need
and plenty left over to share with others.
As the Scriptures say, ‘Godly people give generously to the poor.
Their good deeds will never be forgotten.’”
2 Corinthians 9:7-9
